Recently at work I have been coordinating the opening of a new house in downtown Edmonton for women involved in street life. It has been a fun project but I have been trying to find ways to decorate the outside of an inner-city house on the cheap. Summer is almost over here in Edmonton so all the flowers are on sale, but still too expensive for us. The opening is tomorrow morning so I may just bring over my own potted plants. Let's hope the mayor likes my flowers.

ReplyDeleteNope - we got frost two nights before and my flowers turned brown. We had to buy some cheap lilies at the grocery store. But it wasn't all bad - the flowers made it into two of the news stories.
